George was born in Scotland, 1895, and Catherine was born in Pennsylvania of Scottish parents. "The Erskine's served a mission in the U.K. 1952-1954 in Bristol and then in Scotland. They were [Frederick Buchanan's] companions during the last year of [his] mission."
