Scope and Contents
The Richard Douglas Poll photograph collection mainly consists of slides used for lectures for his class on American Heritage at Brigham Young University, where he taught from 1960-1964 (see Manuscript collection MS 0674, box 13). The same slides were also used by James B. ALlen, who taught the television course in teh early 1970s.
Additional personal materials included such as his LDS mission to Gernamn and Canada (1939-1941), travel throughout the US and Europe, military, and family.
