Scope and Contents
The Kent Logan Walgren photograph collection consists of Walgren's materials concerning the relationship between Freemasonry and Mormonism, and Mormon historical architecture. Kent Logan Walgren (1947-2003) became immersed in a multi-year investigation of Freemasonry which resulted in a 2002 publication of a two volume work titled "Freemasonry, Anti-Masonry and Illuminism in the United States, 1734-1850: A Bibliography."
Many of the images in this collection are in predetermined sets from Walgren’s research or based on his completed work, they often have markings or numbers Walgren assigned to them. Some of the sets were incomplete on donation.
