Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Rowland Hall St. Mark's School photograph collection consists of 22 boxes of black-and-white and color negatives and photographs dating from the 1890s to 2000. Box 1 contains images of the school's buildings and of alumni gatherings. Box 2 and 3 contain images of faculty, family events, and religious services. Boxes 4-8 contain images of student activities, sports, ceremonies, performances, dances, dormitory life, and portraits. Box 9 contains negatives of classes and events and images of facility renovation. Box 10 contains images of the new campus constrruction and of the 8th grade graduating classes from 1989 to 2003. Boxes 11 and 12 contain school portraits, primarily of seniors and older students from the 1980s to 1990s. Boxes 13 and 14 contain slides of classes, student activities, and publicity images. Boxes 15-21 contain oversized group portraits of graduating classes from 1938 to 1999. Bopx 22 contains oversized images of buildings, student, and staff.
