Scope and Contents
This scrapbook contains photographs, correspondence, records, deeds, autograph books, and poems. It is the story of Lucille's family, beginning with her grandparents, her childhood, college life, and early employment. It ends just before her marriage to Abraham Coon Cooley on November 19, 1913. This scrapbook was compiled by Judy Wood, her granddaughter.

Biographical / Historical
Lucille Jensen was born March 3, 1887 in Brigham City, Utah to Henrik "Henry" Jensen and Mary Adeline Graehl Jensen. In 1906, Lucille was certified to teach elementary school. She taught for a year before attending Utah State Agricultural College (now Utah State University) from 1907 to 1911 graduating with a degree in home economics.
