No. 825 Isaac Hoppe, 2012
File — Box: 75, Folder: 19
Scope and Contents
- Isaac Hoppe became involved with Occupy Salt Lake in late 2011 after seeing the Declaration of Occupation posted on a light pole. He camped at Pioneer Park and later at the Gallivan Center, and was involved in several committees along with a protest organized at Wal-Mart. He notes a divide between Occupiers regarding relationships with the police, and emphasizes the importance of engaging in consensus, which he considers one of the “unifying issues” of the Occupy movement.
- Project: Occupy Salt Lake oral history project.
