Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Timothy Treacy papers (1837-2012) consist of primarily of clippings, booklets, bulletins, newsletters, guides, magazines, and prints related to the history of skiing. The first series consists of general materials primarily related to skiing. The second series consists of material related to skiing and tourism organized by country and state. Included are materials sent by Robert O. Baumrucker to be added to Treacy's ski collection. Most of the prints found in this collection are reproductions from engravings of mountains. Treacy's personal materials appear throughout the collection as he was a member of various organizations and competed in many events. The oversize box consists of additional printed materials including magazines and prints of engravings.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
