Scope and Contents
B. Ward Turner (b. 1922) was raised in Lyman, Utah. He was drafted into the Army in May of 1943. As a member of the 315th Ordnance MAM Company, he landed on Utah Beach several days after D-Day. He was present at the liberation of Buchenwald concentration camp, and received five Bronze Stars before being discharged in December 1945.
