Drainage and Irrigation in Nebraska

 File — Box: 4, Folder: 16

Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The photograph collection of Thomas Caldwell Adams reflects his long career as a professor of civil engineering at the University of Utah and later as a civil engineer in private practice. The collection contains photographs of many vicinities in the western United States, and the topics include dams, irrigation projects, earthquakes, floods, engineering projects of all kinds and miscellaneous files of photos of his family and friends, early airplanes, mines, the University of Utah, power projects, and national parks. The collection also reflects Adams' consuming interest in the Great Salt Lake. He is shown here viewing Kit Carson's cross on Fremont Island in the Great Salt Lake.
