Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Deseret Livestock Company was established in 1891 by a group of Utah sheep ranchers and existed until the early 1970s. Its purpose was to promote stock raising, slaughtering, butchering, and mercantile business in Utah. The collection contains photographs of such livestock as horses, sheep, and cattle, as well as the Neponset Dam and canal construction. Also farming, it's environs and employees and activities.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
