  1. 1: "FLAMING GORGE UNIT-COLORADO RIVER STORAGE PROJECT: UTAH-WYOMING. 1d (DAMSITE, LOOKING DOWNSTREAM). Looking southeast downstream on the Green River to the upstream side of Flaming Gorge Damsite. The relatively level area located about two miles from the Government town being built on Dutch John Flat is an excellent (and probably the nearest practicable) observation point from which the public can view the construction of Flaming Gorge Dam. Sufficient area is available for erection of an observation platform and for parking space. June 17, 1957: Bureau of Reclamation photo by S. Rasmussen."
