From the Collection: The Henry Clifford and Harriet Leona Myrup Hanson photograph collection consists of 2 boxes. Box 1 contains photographs, stereoscopes, and albums from the Hansen, Hanson, Myrup, and Anderson families, with a focus on Henry Clifford Hanson and his family. Box 2 contains oversized portraits of Hanson and Hansen family members. The collection also contains a stereoscope viewer.

According to the donor, the family originally spelled their name "Hansen," but the clerk who filled out Henry's birth certificate misspelled it "Hanson." Henry Hanson and his descendents retained this spelling. Special Collections staff made an effort to preserve the two different spellings in the finding aid to distinguish which branch of the family the photographs primarily depict.
