Scope and Contents
The George and Ichiyo 'Pat' Nakaya digital photograph collection contains 28 digitized items of black-and-white photographs documenting the Nayaka family from the 1940s to 1960s. Folder 1 contains images of George and Pat Nakaya and their children between 1942 and 1945, when they were imprisoned in the Granada War Relocation Center, or Camp Amache. Folder 2 contains 9 black-and-white group photographs of congregants posing outside of the Japanese Church of Christ in Salt Lake City, Utah, taken mostly on Easter Sunday and dating from the 1950s and 1960s.
