Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The James Holbrook photograph collection consists of 1 box containing 102 black-and-white and color photograph prints. Folders 1-6 depict James Holbrook's service in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict in 1969; some of these prints have handwritten captions on the backs identifying people. Many of the photographs were taken at Đồng Tâm Base Camp in the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam. Other than people, subjects include: trucks; weapons; helicopters; graves; buildings. Folders 7-10 depict Holbrook's career and education. Folders 11-12 depict friends and pets.
