Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The E. Keith Eddington papers (1969-2001) consist of materials dealing with the English translation, by Charles E. Dibble and Arthur J. O. Anderson, of the Florentine Codex, a manuscript describing the civilization of the Aztecs. This manuscript was compiled by Fray Bernardino de Sahagun during the sixteenth century. The collection contains a Spanish/English typescript from book one of the Codex, articles concerning that same subject, two letters, and Eddington's resume.
