Box 1 Folder 1 consists of album pages removed from a black leather binder and plastic sheeting. The order of the album was been preserved. A note with the album identified it as relating to the Sawtooth National Forest in Idaho. The material in Box 3 folders 2-5 was donated in loose album vinyl album pages; most pages contained prints and corresponding negatives. Items were removed and rehoused but original order was retained. Though the album pages were labeled "Sawtooth, Idaho," the photographs also depict areas in Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming as well as other public lands in Idaho.
