Scope and Contents
This folder contains two pencil sketches entitled, "On Green River Utah, 1861" and "The Water Master." There is also a painting on board of Arthur Needham Merchant, Ottinger's mother's brother. These items have been photocopied for access purposes. The original items have been removed and placed in Reserve. Access must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the items if being used.
Also included in the folder is a photocopy of a book chapter (1978) by Madeleine B. Stern, "A Rocky Mountain Book Store: Savage and Ottinger of Utah."

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
