Scope and Contents
The Southwest and southern California photograph album documents an unidentified family's vacations and trips in 1957 and 1958 through southern California and the American southwest. The album is 18cm x 25.5cm with string-bound black board covers, with 'Photographs' gilt on front board with gilt stamped decorative pattern. A number of pages in the middle of the album are blank, with no mounts indicating that htey held photographs. Some mounts are missing prints. The album contains 158 black-and-white and color prints. The individuals depicted are unidentified and there is no information about the owner or compiler. Locations include Disneyland; Marineland on the Pacific; Bryce Canyon; the Grand Canyon; Zion National Park; Rose Bown Stadium; and Knott's Berry Farm.
