Included are documents regarding various clubs and organizations such as the American Motors Corporation, research materials and notes on religious subjects and topics of interest to Mr. Marriott, hobbies, speeches delivered by Mr. Marriott, correspondence files between Mr. Marriott and friends, Book of Mormon archaeology, Book of Mormon placement in Marriott hotels, Mr. Marriott's affiliation with various universities, the United States Military Chaplaincy and Mormon chaplains, building and dedication of the Washington, D.C. Mormon Temple, and general information on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon).
