From the Series: The papers in this series reflect the personal aspects of Marriott family life. Included are Marriott family biographical and autobiographical materials, cards, letters, certificates, awards, medical and health records, pension plans, will and estate information, family property, get well wishes, condolences, draft and final copies of Marriott (biography written by Robert O'Brien), and related materials. Condolence letters in boxes 5 and 6 are in various formats including telegrams, letters, cards, donations made in Marriott's name to various organizations, and floral notices. Of particular interest are the letters in boxes 9 and 10, which were exchanged between the Marriotts and many prominent civic and Mormon Church leaders dating 1938-1978.
