Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series: The papers housed in boxes 95 through 97 are speeches delivered by Mr. Marriott for various occasions during his life. Accompanying research materials and speech drafts are interfiled with the speeches, and some are located at the end of the speech files. These research materials may include newspaper and magazine articles, quotes, poetry, prose, and humor on a variety of subjects. Speeches of a political nature have been housed with the political materials in box 168.
