The Mike Cassidy independent film collection consists of work prints and film elements directed and produced by him, and other unique videos. Cassidy's most known work is the "(Attack of) The Giant Brine Shrimp". This collection has not yet been digitized.

The Utah Statewide Coordinated Film History Project records (1949-1986) consist of a grant proposal, correspondence, and articles concerning the history of motion picture production in Utah and projects to document that history. Includes posters, press kits, and screenplays.

The Claudia Sisemore independent film collection (1976-1978) consists of documentary films about Utah artists Alvin Gittins, LeConte Stewart and V. Douglas Snow. Sisemore is an artist and teacher as well as a documentary filmmaker, who has filmed over 20 members of Utah's visual and performing arts community. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1976. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Trent Harris papers (1960s-2020) contain his original screenplays, research, correspondence, and ephemera. There are also screenplays by other writers. Trent Harris is a Utah documentarian and independant film maker, whose projects include the famous Beaver Trilogy, Rubin and Ed, and the cult classic Plan 10 from Outer Space.

The Jan Andrews independent film collection (1984-2002) consists of seven experimental and/or documentary films by Utah filmmaker Jan Andrews. Andrews holds of Master of Fine Arts degree in film from the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Spy Hop Productions independent film collection (2000-2009) consists of raw footage and finished films assembled by elementary and high school aged filmmakers under the tutelage of Spy Hop Productions, a Salt Lake City not-for-profit youth media center specializing in educational solutions through the multimedia arts. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Azadeh Saljooghi independent film collection (2003) consists of short experimental, narrative and documentary films Saljooghi made while a student in the University of Utah's film department. Some of the films deal with Middle Eastern history and culture. A native of Iran, Dr. Saljooghi teaches communications and information studies at the American University in Dubai.

The Larry Cappetto independent film collection (2004) consists of a documentary about the survivors of World War II's D-Day. Many of the veterans interviewd are Utah natives. Larry Cappetto is a Colorado based documentary filmmaker. This film premiered at the Salt Lake City Public Library.

The Albert G. Londema papers (1945-1966) consists of two trophies awarded to Londema and a scrapbook detailing the activities of the Utah Cine Arts Club. Londema was an amatuer movie maker.
