Scope and Contents

The Orson W. Huntsman diaries (1891-1926) consist of a typescripts. Huntsman was a settler in the Hebron area in southern Utah. His diaries describe his efforts to get a dam built for a reservoir in the area, but it never came to fruition. He also describes church and community activities, his work, and his travels, among other subjects. Volume one is available only on microfilm. This diary was typed from the original by the Historical Records Survey, Federal Writer's Project, WPA of Washington County, Utah.
