Scope and Contents

The Mansfield Lorenzo Snow papers (1866-1960) is mainly comprised of correspondence to the Snow family, i.e. Mansfield, his wife, Anna, and their daughter, Uarda. Most of these correspondence are of a personal nature or are from relatives, although there are letters dealing with Mansfield's professional and social associations as a writer and newspaper man. There is also a series of letters concerning the rental and sale of land. Also included are geneolgoical materials relating both to the Snow and Clarke families. There are also personal miscellaneous items, belonging to members of the Snow family.

Biographical / Historical

Mansfield Lorenzo Snow (1866-1956) was a Utah author and newspaper man in the early 1990s. He was born in Salt Lake, Utah, on 8 September 1866, to LDS Church President, Lorenzo Snow, and Mary Elizabeth Hautz.
