The Naomi Hoffmann papers (1913-1971) consist of a diary [photocopies and original], a will, a petition, biographical notes, and collection notes. The diary was presented to Hoffman by Mrs. Enos A. Wall in 1913. Diary (1913-1919) describes events in the life of an upper class, non-LDS woman in Salt Lake City. Included are some personal papers from her later life. It mentions singing lessons, theater events, parties, and other subjects.

Biographical / Historical
Naomi Robertie Hoffman was born on September 3, 1896, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Henry Charles and Sophia Chrisella Hoffman. She graduated from Rowland Hall and Mt. Vernon Seminary. She was a concert and opera singer, and was president of the Ladies Literary Club in Salt Lake City, from 1956-1957. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge and a member of the MacDowell Club. Hoffman died on March 23, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
