Biographical Sketch

Erma Brunt Faldmo (1915-1998) was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and spent her childhood there. She moved to Salt Lake City to live with relatives and graduated from East High School prior to enrolling in the Utah State Agricultural College. She married Norman Faldmo in 1936. The couple had four children. They served a mission for the LDS Church in Hawaii in 1957. After returning to Utah, Erma and Norman organized a tour of Hawaii for a small group. This was the start of Faldmo Tours, a business with which Erma was associated for many years. Norman Faldmo died in 1977, while the couple were on a Caribbean cruise. Erma continued to tour until her retirement in 1985. She died in Orem, Utah, in 1998.
