Scope and Contents

The Karen Marguerite Moloney papers (1973-2005), consist of professional and related personal correspondence from 2002-2005, manuscripts accepted and rejected for Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, and organizational documents for the Dialogue journal, including budget, application processes, and training. Included also are two manuscripts she wrote for the Dialogue's 2004 Spring Issue called, "Wicks, Modems, and the Winds of War" and an unpublished article entitled "At the Scene of the Crime."

Biographical Sketch

Karen Marguerite Moloney worked as Editor in Chief for the 2004 Spring issue of Dialogue. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of California in 1989. She has done much editorial work and has had many of her own works published. She is a professor of English at Weber State University (2001-2005).

Abstract

The Karen Marguerite Moloney papers (1973-2005), contain private and professional correspondence, manuscripts accepted and rejected for Dialogue: a journal of Mormon thought, and organizational documents for Dialogue, including budget, application processes and training. Included are two manuscripts she wrote for Dialogue's 2004 Spring issue, "Wicks, modems, and the winds of war" and "At the scene of the crime." Moloney was Editor in Chief for Dialogue, 2004-2008. She received a Ph.D. from the University of California in 1989 and has extensive editorial and teaching experience.
