The Peter Huntoon papers consist of materials about nuclear technology, ranging from nuclear explosions, to power plants, to the side effects of radiation, and the effects of nuclear technologies on prominent areas which have experienced significant exposure to nuclear energy. The collection contains news articles, academic studies, and pamphlets about nuclear technologies as well as information for a class which Professor Huntoon designed... and taught at the University of Wyoming. Biographical Note

Peter Huntoon was a professor of Geology at University of Wyoming. Huntoon created a class at the University called Fission, Fusion and Psychosis, which referenced much of the material found in the collection.
