An interview by Alan Cherry with James Henry Sinquefield discussing his experiences as a black convert to the LDS Church and his opinions concerning the status of black persons in the Church. This interview is part of the LDS African American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University.

Sinquefield was the first African American ordained to the priesthood in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
