Scope and Contents
The Milton H. Sevy speech (1914) consist of a graduation address delivered by Sevy at the University of Utah on 3 June 1914. In his address, he urged graduates to get involved in political matters and warned them not to be too conservative. This speech sparked disapproval from the Governor of Utah and affected political conditions within the university setting. Many faculty members resigned as a result.
