The H. Wayne Driggs script (1937) was written by Driggs, for a pageant about the Book of Mormon. The script is an incomplete copy of the original performed at the Hill Cumorah in New York. A brief note is also included in the collection.

Biographical Sketch

H. Wayne Driggs, an English professor at New York University, was appointed to the "New York Committee" formed to develop an appropriate script for the annual Hill Cummorah Pageant in 1937. The LDS Church acquired the Hill Cummorah in the early 1930s and a pageant to celebrate the coming forth of the Book of Mormon became an annual event.
