The Madge Harris Tuckett papers (1985) consist of two biographies she wrote, one of Henry Tuckett and the other of his son, Henry A. Tuckett. Also included in the collection are a bibliography and copies of many of the sources of information she used in compiling the biographies.

Biographical Sketch
Henry Tuckett was born 24 September 1831 in London, England. He joined the LDS Church in 1848 and migrated to the United States and next year. He married Mary (Mercy) Westwood in 1852 and moved to Salt Lake City two years later. He was a Pony Express rider and served a mission to Great Britain in 1888.
Henry A. Tuckett was born 22 December 1852 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Henry Tuckett and Mercy Westwood. He married Agnes Sproul in 1871 and enjoyed a life-long career in music. He served a mission to Great Britain from 1894-1896 and was a president of the LDS Church's Fifty-seventh Quorum of the Seventy.

The Madge Harris Tuckett papers (1985) consist of two biographies she wrote, one of Henry Tuckett and the other of his son, Henry A. Tuckett. Henry Tuckett Sr. (1831-1923) was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from England and rode for the Pony Express. Henry Tuckett Jr. (1852-1918) was an accomplished musician, businessman, and member of the LDS Church.
