Scope and Contents

The home teachers meeting minutes are handwritten and detail monthly meetings of Fourth Division home teachers of the LDS Church. The minutes were kept by clerk Benjamin S. Wilson. The entries consist of reports of visitations of members by the teachers along with reports of the state of each member's faith. Other events mentioned are the dedication of the Logan, Utah, temple; various births and deaths in the division; the imprisonment of various church members for polygamy; and the passage of the Edmonds-Tucker Act which outlawed polygamy.
