Biographical Sketch
Westwater (Grand) is a ghost town site near the west end of Ruby Canyon on the Colorado River. After mining and railroad construction in the region declined, the town was abandoned. Mike Milligan, who collected and donated the materials in this Collection, was a former boatman for Holiday River Expeditions.
