Biographical Note

Fred Lewis Markham (1902-1984), was born to Joseph and Mary Katharine Lewis Markham, in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was married to Maud Dixon, in 1924 and they had four children. Fred Markham was an architect, and an active member of the Republican Party. In 1932, he served as the delegate to the Republican National Convention from Utah.

The Fred L. Markham papers (1945-1948) contain a folder of professional correspondence, and two sets of blueprints from the J. C. Penny store in Price Utah. Also included are oversize architectural drawings.
