Organizational History
The Glen Canyon Action Network was founded in 2000, its mission is to see the Glen Canyon Dam demolished and Lake Powell drained in an effort to restore a free-flowing Colorado River. The Glen Canyon Action Network changed its name to Living Waters in 2001. Living Waters became part of the Waterkeeper Alliance in 2002, and added Colorado Riverkeeper to its name. Living Waters Colorado River Keeper is a non-profit organization with offices in Utah and Arizona.
