Biographical Note

Janecek was the director of the Office of Public Information External Relations Division for the UN in 1960. The UN was established in 1945 by fifty-one countries committed to preserve peace through international cooperation and collective security. The UN is central to global efforts to solve problems which challenge humanity and is currently made up of one-hundred and eighty-eight countries.

Janecek while employed by the United Nations. Janecek served as director of the Office of Public Information, External Relations Division of the United Nations.
