Abstract

The Parley Pratt Nelson autobiography (1899-1903) consists of a photocopy of a manuscript entitled "A Simple Autobiography of the Life of Parley Pratt Nelson." Nelson (1875-1946) was born in Utah as the fourth of eight children. Nelson graduated from Snow Academy in Ephraim, Utah. In 1904 he entered the University of Maryland Physicians and Surgeons (P&S) Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland. The manuscript primarily deals with Nelson's ancestry and the mission he served for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South America.
