The Eldridge Schilling, Jr. scrapbook contains photographs and a typescript diary of a trip taken West in 1952. This scrapbook provides the impressions of this Dayton, Ohio man during his travels primarily undertaken on trains. He departed Dayton for Colorado Springs, then Utah, and onto California. He ended his travels in Chicago.
