Biographical Note
Frank Otto McIntyre (1909-1999) was born in Wolbach, Nebraska and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1927 and Hastings College in 1931. He married Maxine Olive Ward in 1936; they had two children: Joel Franklyn McIntyre (born 1938) and Jerilyn Sue McIntyre (born 1942). McIntyre's first teaching position was in his hometown of Fullerton, Nebraska. In subsequent years, he taught English and journalism at Fairbury High School, was employed as an educator and administrator at Fairbury Junior College and Norfolk (Nebraska) Junior College, and finished his career as the Director of Public Relations for the California Teachers Association. His career as a public speaker began as a young educator in Nebraska and continued until his retirement. Frank O. McIntyre died September 9, 1999 in Arcadia, California.
