The D. J. Angus home movies (1932) consist of 16 short films taken on a vacation to the desert Southwest. Angus' footage includes scenes of notable parks and landmarks in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.

Biographical Note

Donald James Angus (1887-1966) was born in Wisconsin. A self-educated electrical engineer, Angus owned the Esterline-Angus Company of Indianapolis, Indiana and worked and taught at Michigan Agricultural College in Lansing, Michigan. Angus traveled throught the Southwest, South, and Mexico and documented his trips in photographs and film.

A native of Wisconsin, Donald James Angus was a self-educated electrical engineer who worked and taught in Indiana and Michigan.
