Biographical Note
Richard Tracey Wootton was born in 1918. Wootton is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wootton is the author of the 1992 book Saints and Scientists: A Quest for Science Religion Harmony, which argues that the LDS Church is uniquely compatible with science, leading Utah to produce a higher than average number of scientists.
