Scope and Contents
These images of mailboxes were collected by Joe Cecola and donated by Lloyd Shaw with the rest of the 1982 projects.
The two albums were transferred in 2000 to the Photo Archive. There is no corresponding paper project for these photos; only the photos were donated.
The magnetic albums were disassembled by the Preservation department in 200 due to acidic backings.

Historical Note
The Folklore Student photograph collection contains visual folklore projects created at the University of Utah. These projects were prepared by University of Utah students studying in various courses and workshops taught by Louis Zucker, Wayland D. Hand, Hector Lee, Barre Toelken, Jan Harold Brunvand, Margaret K. Brady, and David Stanley.
