Scope and Contents
The photographs in this collection are portraits of Young, some of his wives, and a drawing of Young with Mary Ann Angell and their children. There is also one photograph of the livery stable in Salt Lake over which the polygamy trial of Young took place.

Abstract
The Brigham Young family photograph collection contains portraits of Brigham Young alone and with various wives and children. The collection also contains a carte de visite of a street scene in Salt Lake City during the trial of Brigham Young.
Separated Materials
The following materials were transferred to the Manuscripts Division of Special Collections: Brigham Young diary (MS 0564)and the Brigham Young letter to George Q. Cannon (MS 0566).
