The "Big Parade" was an army caravan that toured Utah to sell war bonds in the national Second War Loan Campaign. This collection contains photographs of the Caravan itself, the Caravan on parade in towns throughout Utah, and entertainment groups related with the war bond drive.

Biographical Note

The "Big Parade" was an army caravan that toured Utah from April 15-27 to sell war bonds in the national Second War Loan Campaign. The parade traveled through almost every city and county in Utah. Utah's goal was to raise $50,000,000 in bond sales but exceeded that by over $1,000,000.
