Scope and Contents
The Cottonwood Country Club photograph collection consists of 55 color photograph prints depicting the clubhouse and grounds of the Cottonwood Country Club in 2012. The photographs were taken by John Nikas, a long-time member of the Cottonwood Country Club, at the library's request after plans were made to replace the clubhouse building in the summer of 2012.

Biographical / Historical
The Cottonwood Country Club, located in Holladay, Utah, was founded as a family-oriented club in the 1950s. It was built on land purchased from the Moyle Estate. Construction on the club began in 1955 and initially included a swimming pool, two tennis courts, horseback riding facilities, and a locker room. The original clubhouse was built in 1959. A two-phase renovation and construction project was begun in 2012. In 2013, the original clubhouse was demolished and rebuilt.
