The Aloysius S. Church photograph collection consists of 1 box containing 1 photograph of Rosanne Ruiz, Executive Chef at the Grille at the Depot in Park City. The photo was used in a Press Release for the opening of the restaurant, sister restaurant to the acclaimed Sorrento Grille in Laguna Beach. A copy of the press release is included.

Biographical / Historical

Aloysius "Al" Church worked as a freelance on-air talent and field producer for KUTV's semi-news program, PM Magazine, from 1979 to 1983. PM Magazine was a syndicated production from Westinghouse Broadcasting that was aired on KUTV as a soft news feature with both national and local segments. Church appeared twice a month as the local restaurant reviewer during that time period, focusing on Utah restaurants.

During that time, Church also worked with PM staffers as a field producer, generating, filming, writing and editing other non-restaurant features. Some of these are included in the archival footage (though several were erased as PM was being phased out of KUTV's program line up.) Several won national and regional awards for writing, story content, and editing.
