Scope and Contents
The consits of 1 archives box containing 2 color group photographs depicting members of the Snowbird Ski Patrol, who are identified on the backs of the photograph prints. The first print is dated from 2002 and includes Steve Remeneski, Roland Darborin, Jamie Laidlaw, Chip Duross, and Jon Marshall. The second print is dated 2004-05 and includes Scottie Williams, Dennis Durrant, Dusty Sackett, Eric Anderson, and Tina Biddle Scooros.

Biographical / Historical
Dustin "Dusty" Sackett began working as a ski patroller at Snowbird in 1977. He also was a Salt Lake City area presenter of the "Know Before You Go" program started by Craig Gordon of Forest Service Utah Avalanche Center in response to a fatal December 26, 2003 avalanche near Aspen Grove. A ski historian, Sackett has contributed to the The Powder Hound's Guide to Snowbird (2007) with Brad Asmus.
