This was a theatrical newspaper listing plays and actors and advertisements, published on nights of performances. This folder contains photocopied versions of the Evening Curtain for access purposes. The original items have been removed and placed in Reserve. Access must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the items if being used.

The David McKenzie papers (1860-1962) include early programs, playbills, tickets, scripts, librettos, and other materials related to the Salt Lake Theater, as well as some personal papers of David McKenzie (1833-1912), manager of the theater. Among the personal papers are correspondence, genealogical materials, writings, and his journal. Some items regarding Maud Adams, a well-known actress, are also present in the collection.
