Newell photocopied a substantial amount of material from the Journal History for her research. The material has been arranged in chronological order and bound.

Scope and Contents Material relates to a court suit between the Reorganized Church and the L.D.S. church involving possession of the temple lot in Independence, Missouri. Included are the testimonies of several individuals testifying in the suit.
